Well, I don't have an i3 yet, but I just bought some plates for it!
EV's haven't taken off in Australia yet, and especially here in South Australia. I was surprised to find that the 'EV' number plate is available, so I bought them. They will have to live on my petrol weekend car until I manage to get an i3.
Here in SA, custom plates are licensed and saleable. Short sequence plates are unusual and not very common so I'm guessing that if the wheels falloff (lol), I should be able to sell the plate agreement once EV popularity improves.
I thought of Tom's 'FOPEC' plates, but I suspect they might attract the wrong kind of attention...
anyone else have custom plates on their i3 or lined up for delivery?
