Bmw extending battery warranty?

I just received a letter from bmw saying my i3 has had its battery warranty extended to 15 years or 150000 miles. I have a 2017 and I thought it's 8 year just ran out.

I assume unlike the carb states. This doesn't include AC and it's catastrophic fail into the battery.

No. Got the same letter. Read it carefully. It is about a Temperature Sensor in the HV Cell Module.

Acabo de recibir una carta de BMW en la que se dice que la garantía de la batería de mi i3 se ha extendido a 15 años o 150 000 millas. Tengo un modelo 2017 y pensé que la garantía de 8 años se había agotado.

Supongo que, a diferencia de los estados del carburador, esto no incluye el aire acondicionado y su falla catastrófica afecta la batería.
