Are any of the former Active E lessees unhappy with BMW in that when we had to turn in the Active E to be the first to get the i3, our leases are twice as much as what you can lease an i3 since November of last year until now. Seems to me BMW should adjust the leases down just as Nissan did for the first Leaf lessees. We Active E Electronauts had no choice.

Certainly early adopters got the privilege of having the first ones off the line, and yes, paying more. It is a new model, and the demand hasn't been established. For the US market, I think there was high demand early from enthusiasts, and then it has waned since then while the early adopters learn of the benefits and limitations of the i3. With many 2014s still unsold, and March sales dropping from February, there's bound to be deals out there for those willing to join the EV ranks.
