Just entered the i3 world here. Trying to learn about the possiblities and the challenges. Baseline for this car is that we thought of buying and EV with V2G/V2H that we could use for our house (we have solar panel and installed batteries). In Sweden this is not available yet due to som legislation, and noone knows when it will be. Guesses is 2026 or 2027 with the goverment we have now. So, we decided to do a test with a smaller i3 until later. We have this vehicle as a complement to our other BMW 120D and 4 older vintage cars.

The i3 is not capable of V2G/V2H. Unless you somehow managed to get one of the 50 that BMW converted for testing purposes.

Hi,
Yes, I know, and due to the Swedish regulation, no other car either can use it even if they are prepared like some KIA/Hundai etc.
So, we took the decision to do an EV test :).
