I find Waze just as reliable (if not more so) than the in built camera-based systems on our other cars which frequently miss speed limit signs or unrestricted signs, so that's what I use (on Android). It has the advantage of warnings for hazards such as potholes and speed cameras as well.

That's not the case on line. I "renew" every month - for twelve months! I don't need to provide any false information. It flags up that I still have ten/eleven months left but I can still get a fresh 12 months worth without any problem at all. You may need special dispensation if you want to...

I'm just renewing on-line every month, just in case they close the loophole at some point. I don't think there are any specific questions iirc.

So those of us with BEV i3s should ensure we renew our tax in early March. That way we'll get a year's extra free VED.

Little choice in the UK if you have an S. The larger rears were only available from Bridgestone. There was literally nothing else that would fit (when I last looked a month or so ago).

Just got four new tyres for my i3S and there were no alternatives to the Bridgestone Ecopias. I live down south so not too much of an issue having "summer" tyres but they cost over £700 which is crazy money for such small rubber (it's not much less than I paid for four tyres on my McLaren!).

I set my departure time 5-7 days in the future and then it works fine, although of course this means changing it every couple of days if you're charging regularly. A bigger frustration for me is only having one charging window as we have three cheap periods on our tariff.

If you know roughly when it'll reach your desired charge level can you not just set the appropriate charge window in the app?

I keep my non-electric cars on a (C-TECH) 12V battery conditioner if they're left for a long time. Can't the same not be done on the i3?

A Mk7 Golf R was the car we swapped for our i3. We still have two petrol cars, though - an AMG Merc for longer journeys and a McLaren.

Sorry for the slight thread hijack but is there a way to stop all the tracks being listed in alphabetical order rather than track order? I've tried with the internal hard drive and external USB but the result is the same - each album's tracks are played in AB order, not sequentially. The same...

I had the same thing a few days ago and fixed it by simply rebooting my phone. Worth a try if you hadn't already done it. I did wonder if it was some knock-on effect from the troubles in the US.
