This was my actual expereince, always worked on the old 50kW ABB chargers, almost never worked on the newer high power chargers - very odd! I ended up replacing the charging port and cabel with use cabel, and now everything seems to be fine again.

Did you solve this issue? My 2014 BEV can carge at old 50kW stations but not the newer high power stations..

For your info, the TheNewMotion card requires a Dutch, Belgian or German bank account to set-up payments. Currently no credit cards or PayPal accounts :-(
