Just be aware that the CPO warranty isn't nearly as good as it was several years ago. The top level BMW extended warranty may be the best route, assuming they include it in your deal at no extra cost. Be sure it's actually the BMW warranty and not a third party one.

Correct, but the same situation applies - cooling issues, as we see on the Signet units, will affect the unit's ability to reach peak power. It will still be able to sustain lower rates, assuming no failed components.

Exactly. Extreme temperatures would have an effect on the peak charge rate, but from ~75% on the impact would be minimal. This effect is more noticeable in EVs which lack batteries with proper thermal management.
