I couldn't get any lower than the BMW advertised rate of 269/month with around $4575 due at signing for an i3 REX so I bailed. I didn't want to spend nearly $5000 to rent a car for 2 years. I like the i3 but I don't want to buy another EV with 200 mile batteries due in the next few years.

A Seattle area dealer was advertizing a $53K MSRP with a $12K discount and I fell for it. The discount was including the $7500 tax credit. Car dealers act like the gov is handing out checks for $7500 to any one who buys an electric vehicle. Those greedy #%#!

I always speak before thinking. The dealer would probably not let me put 400 miles on the car anyway. I just want to test the rex to see how it works.

I missed the 2014 lease special too but I'm hopeful there will be new better incentives to move the 2014s. I just looked and it seems that the offer is extended till March 2nd.
