    Need a part - 07119908004.

Yeah, they are stinging me on shipping. Was wondering what it would be from BMW themselves if I just go and pick it up from a local BMW parts Dept. It's not generic no. I've tried that already and they don't really fit right and I don't want to completely mess up the existing thread.

    Need a part - 07119908004.

Managed to snap one of the bolts that holds the battery cover in place - part number is 07119908004 . Cheapest I can find is £6.15 delivered. Can anyone find it cheaper at all in the UK? TIA!

Seriously starting to dislike the i3-please skip if disagree

I didn't even look at that, brilliant!! My comments still stand - none of those problems here. Love my i3!

Battery Health question when buying a used i3 as first time electric car buyer

I was going to reply but Gonville's answers are spot on.

I think this is why it's so important to take a car for test drive where possible. I understand if you are having to have the car shipped to you but test drive one local to you if at all possible and you can avoid these potential personal pitfalls. I read through your points and I totally...

BMW Advanced Car Eye 2.0 and ACE 2.0 App

I don't, no. I use a local chap that I've used for a good few years on all my cars. Until I get this sorted, I've now got another dashcam in place as I really need something sooner rather than later. I do appreciate your replies on this.

    Hello. Reintroducing myself. Again 😁

That's great news. Always nice to tick things off that you shouldn't have to worry about in the future. :)

    Painted calipers, just for fun.

Love the Stormtrooper i3 - the blue sets it off lovely. On my own, I went for some more blue in the cabin, specifically the glovebox.

BMW Advanced Car Eye 2.0 and ACE 2.0 App

No joy with Ace email support - they said they only support 3.0 not 2.0 - even though I told them about my experience with a local BMW dealer not wanting to help at all until I gave them some money for a service, they advised me to go to a local BMW dealer. The search continues..

BMW Advanced Car Eye 2.0 and ACE 2.0 App

Thanks, first thing I did was a hard reset and that did nothing really. I found some other advice which was format the card and then wait a few days and it then starts recording. It has then created the file system on the card. I then have to copy a firmware file across to the card but not put...

BMW Advanced Car Eye 2.0 and ACE 2.0 App

No luck with turning off CarPlay. Shame if I need to remove it all as it's all wired in to the car and hidden behind trunking.

Anyone over 100k miles on their car?

Somebody worked it out and they can do around 500,000 miles. I find that insane but I'll definitely be keeping mine for many years as my yearly mileage is very low. Fantastic car, especially as you can pick up a used one for great money.

    Hello. Reintroducing myself. Again 😁

You can access the motor compartment just by lifting out the cargo floor in the trunk and removing the screws on the cover beneath.
