Had my i3 for just about six weeks now and overall have been very pleased. However I just noticed there is a bit of a crack in the steering wheel around the hard plastic part that covers the horn. I will admit that I am a fairly regular and possibly too dramatic user of my horn but I have never hit it especially hard. I noticed it while getting coffee this morning and having to fairly abruptly honk at an other car who was about to back in to me. Has anyone else experienced this? It doesn't look like a full crack, I just wonder if some component of the horn switch below the encasing presses against the steering wheel and will show wear over time.

Thanks.

How is this possible? The i3 horn is way too wimpy to ever be dramatic! Between the slight delay to start, the impossibility to tap the horn like in most other cars, and the not very loud mono-tone, BMW should be ashamed of the horn in the i3. Almost as terrible as the sun visors.

On the other hand, I sure do LOVE my i3!
