I'm a proud owner of an i3 Rex Giga World model. I've seen pictures in the internet showing the navigation panel with a city map displaying the Radius of range (how far you can drive) with the different driving settings (Eco pro, Rex, etc).

I have not figure out how to view that setting.

Please provide me the steps to enable that feature (if it exists)

Thanks

In my U.S.-spec i3 w/Pro nav, the range outlines appear only when the map is set to north-up or in direction of travel. The don't appear in 3D mode.

First, try zooming out. While it does change the color slightly of the two areas, it is nearly impossible to tell until you've zoomed out far enough to see the full circle, which, depending on temperature, terrain, and your driving style, can be quite a ways away.

Oh yes they do.

No secret and no coding, I swear. (At least, I don't think so — I activated route simulator on the navigation recently, which seems unrelated to range.) I changed the map to perspective view, zoomed out and the range maps appeared. But they're spotty. During some trips, regardless of map view, none of the range maps appear.

ConnectedDrive has been anything but for me during the past week. Running 2015-1 maps.

Click left, go to the bottom icon on the map page (Map content?), then I think also at the bottom of that sublist, select range map and any other item you feel useful.

When I do that it says range is only available in 2D mode ( I have 504 SW and 2015-1 maps)

I think it is a bug to show range radius in 3D.

I have 2014-2 map and HAD radius range in 3D. The menu in mine also said "Electric Range (2D)". After trying various option, I can't get the map to display range radius in 3D, even after I fall back all the settings.

BTW, I don't think the map has any ferry route data. The range looks really odd when the car is near water.

I get the range to show in 3D mode. I'll have to check the next time I'm in the car what options I have marked, but it shows in both 2D and 3D.

We get very funny looking range shapes with the mountains around here. I'll try to snap a picture.
