My i3 have this warning and the scanner have this codes on kafas:
800AC5 Heating camera-based driver support system short circuit to positive or open circuit
E06C43 Signal invalid,transmitter DSC/ICM
can be the kafas camera defective, any idea, please let me know
Thanks

Do you know if the windscreen has been replaced after it left the factory? My understanding is that the KAFAS heating is built into the windscreen, so it may be that the heating element has failed, or it may never have been connected properly when the screen was replaced?

I suspect that the only simple way would be with an IR thermometer. The heating element is powered when (paradoxically, given that it is in the front screen) the heated rear windscreen is on. You should see a significant rise in the temperature of the glass in front of the KAFAS camera.
