I am having a problem with the transmission mounted actuator. Neutral is flashing on gear leaver.
It is moving under test to park or neutral, however the calibrate function via the ISTA tool doesn’t work.
In set up it can be driven from N to P and P to N.
When calibrating it moves to neutral, but doesn’t compleat the move to park. But it can be heard to move to park and car wheels are locked. There is a 40+ second count down that doesn’t get past about 3 seconds. Before saying the calibration can not be completed.
I am trying to understand what I am doing wrong.
What is correct alignment and procedure for fitting new actuator ?
I fitted it when actuator pointing at P and shaft turned to, and clicked in to park position (indent) with wheels checked not to rotate.
I have 2 actuators behaving the same.
Turning the shaft to neutral aligns with neutral on the actuator and shaft is found to feel as if going in second indent position.
I don’t think alignment is wrong.
Wiring suggests motor is driven by wires 1 & 6, reversing polarity for rotation.
2 & 5 are electronics power. Neural & feed.
3 & 4 are feedback.
Not sure what correct wire feed back would be ?
