Well hello there, feel such an idiot, purchased an I3 last month, love it, brilliant piece of engineering, anyway received the i3 forum newsletter and the article re 10 things you need, one being the charger cover, great idea, it’s even magnetic, superb as I was bothered about charging in the rain, it arrived it is indeed magnetic…..the bloody car isn’t is it? But having said that, get my home charger next week so I’ll see if I can adapt this one doh! Anyway great forum

Didn't sweat the rain cover – it's not necessary. The J1772 connector is effectively double insulated against water intrusion.

Some folks in wintery climes like a boot to fend off snow and ice build up.
