How to know remaining battery capacity?

I just bough a second hand i3 and i want to know that how much of my battery is dead.

Is there any way to check it by myself?

There's a service menu that can show that...the procedure is repeated more than once, and finding it shouldn't be too hard on the forum. Probably one of the highest use vehicles, one of the moderators, did not see much of anything on his after over 50K miles.
