I second Evanston's suggestion which isn't super practical, but it's the only way I know of **for sure** to verify.My July 11 2016 built i3 (2017 model year) had 4G but because of the software apparently hadn't been updated to reflect the change, it showed a 3G icon on the screen.When I removed my rear seat to verify, the modem's label was hidden from plain view. I had to shoot video from an off angle to capture it. I'm not aware of any easy way to identify a 3G vs. a 4G box visually, other than checking the part number.That said, referencing the build date ought to be a reliable enough indicator.
