It looks like a thin and flimsy sheet of FRP. Taking off the foam/dust was fairly easy with a wire brush (luckily, wire brushes are cheap, because mine got good and clogged! Not worth trying to clean.), but I am left with a very sticky residue with some remaining balls of foam/dust/glue. I was wondering how to get rid of that (if it is even necessary as long as the bigger balls are removed so they don't show through the new foam). I was wondering if there is a solvent that would work on it, but the pressure washer sounds like it might be effective. I'll give it a try.
