(CA) HOV sticker wait

I thought it would be interesting to share how long it's taken for people to get their HOV stickers issued from DMV in CA.

Here is my timeline:
purchase - 12/19/14
received plates - 1/16/15
mailed REG1000 - 1/17/15
application delivered to DMV (sent priority) - 1/19/15
check cashed - 2/10/15
stickers received - 2/13/15

Can't recall how long each step took but I do know I took delivery on May 15 and received the stickers on June 21. Hope that helps.
