I was thinking along the lines of changing networks / carriers.For instance, in my example above, Audi uses AT&T, which discontinued 2G as best I can tell, but I installed a US Mobile SIM and was getting reliable 2G data from T-Mobile and / or Verizon, which are the networks US Mobile leases bandwidth from.
