I had same thoughts. Unfortunately, I think BMW's idea of a 'Gen 2 for the masses' is the Mini Cooper EV (which, after owning a Mini, would be the last EV on the planet I'd ever consider buying).I really think they don't want to 'sully' the BMW lux brand with an EV for the masses. Not the BMW demographic.
