Keen to get ApplePlay installed on our 2017 Rex but BMW says it’s not possible. That seems so odd in this age of custom modifications. Anyone done it or know a guy?

If you search for CarPlay install on i3 you’ll find plenty of aftermarket options. Some (maybe all?) involve installing a new electronics unit in the spot under the rear seat.
