I got a good deal a few months ago on a 2020 i3 base mega world, 36k miles, with 6 months of basic warranty left. I’m very glad to have found this forum!
Of course, ownership brings many small practical issues. Among my current ones:
Is there an SF Bay Area i3 owner’s group somewhere to get tips and suggestions on i3-knowledgeable independent mechanics, detailers, tint shops etc? I’m in the Mountain View area and see a number of i3’s as I drive around.
Should I consider some kind of add-on warranty? I’m in CARBland, but electronics failures and potential carbon fiber body issues are a big unknown to me.
