2019 BMW i3 REX - MyBMW app no longer showing charging status???

All; I just realized that I have not been getting charging history or actual charging status on the MyBMW app since mid November.

Does anyone know if this is unique to me or is this due to an overall BMW issue (i.e. software out of date, need new subscription, etc.)?

I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks, John
 
If you can still lock/unlock doors but no charging info, then your subscription has expired. Used to be that when sub expired, nothing worked, but this changed sometime in early 2024 so there is limited Remote access function available with no sub but no charging info.
note: this comment is for USA-based users. Not sure how it works/does not work in other parts of the world.
 
I'm kind of amazed that they allow some basic free commands we can send to the car via cellular without a subscription. This is from a company that started subscriptions for heated seats. I also don't have a subscription so no charging status. That said, I don't see what $120 CAD/year actually gives me that I would care about. I've looked through the list and hoped Black Friday sales would give me something, but there's really nothing compelling in it for me.
