Hey everyone! I'm joining up here because I’m looking to list my (wife’s?) 2018 i3 for sale before our international move to the Netherlands from Los Angeles.
When I first bought the i3, I was just covering my (European) wife's requirements for a small vehicle. I can remember thinking how goofy it looked to me. She found it cute. I sold my Model 3 shortly after because the price on them at that point in covid went kind of nuts and I could get nearly all I had paid for it back. Teslas support in LA was terrible, so I was happy to be done with it. My wife and I shared the i3 for a while. It really grew on me. It’s zippy, fun, and really comfortable. I ended up needing a car for commuting when forced to return to the office and picked up a near-new 2021 VW ID.4 Pro S, and while it was perfectly fine, I never connected with it the way I did with the i3. I don’t have any feelings about selling the ID.4. But selling the i3? Grumpy making.
I have to say, I’m really bummed to let this car go. If it were technically feasible to bring it with us, I would pay to move it. Alas, I’ve already found my next car: a 2022 BMW iX xDrive40. And honestly? The i3 is the reason I even considered the iX.
