I don't know if it is possible to lock/unlock the car with the iphone app but i would be nice to have an iWatch app so you would just have to tap an icon on your watch to open/close the car...and of course all other features availbale as well...

I hate to say it but i'm considering cancelling my I3 order, i keep reading more troubles/problems are arrising. Even major problems (also on the german forum) like complete dead batteries...

well always better a small issue instead of - AC not working - car breakdown - drivetrain breakdown - drivetrain warning lights - charging problems - ...

This would be ok for a EV experiment but not for a mass-market EV. I would think BMW would have learned from the Active E recalls (drivetrain problems). I ordered this EV for my wife, i cannot imagine her to let her have loosening bolts of removing fuses to get the car started, it's a 50k car...

Have you confronted BMW yet with this problem ? You can't expect a 50k€ car being assembled with ducttape...

But it is not meant to be as a backup. They say you can drive 160km with a BEV and 300km with a REX, they forgot to mention 'in limp-mode' or next to the comfort button the 'limp' button. At least the driver should be warned whenever performance will be reduced at certain speeds or suggested to...

We have been driving Audi for 20 years now. Too bad it is a hybrid, they should have gone for an A2 BEV ! We loved our A2. I hope BMW will not disappoint us.
