In other BMWs, the speed corrector can be deactivated via coding. In the i3, look for 3000 > BC_V_KORREKTUR in the BKOMBI module. In testing with an iPhone GPS and Waze.app, however, deactivating the "korrektur" appeared to have no effect. The car still an indicated ~2 mph above actual speed.

That KAFAS camera already has a seemingly full plate, scanning everything — cars, pedestrians, speed-limit signs — under the sun, not to mention adjusting the car's speed. Instead of the OEM pipe dream route, there's an inexpensive, DIY approach that takes about an hour to configure and...

Advanced Real-Time Traffic Information is standard on the 2017 i3 94 Ah, not the i3 60 Ah. Both ship with Business navigation as standard options in the U.S., according to the 2017 ordering guides. Since tele-services is standard in both models, I would guess the same hardware is also in place...

The i3 looks so much better without the amber reflectors (on N.A. cars), especially on dark colors.

Make sure you're in the far right lane when the relative SOC reaches ~5%. ;) (It really is an abortion of an information graphic.)

From the manual I would start really close and then gradually move the transmitter away a few inches.

One way to confirm coasting is to set the on-board computer to current consumption. In the U.S., it'll say 19.9 mi/kWh when you're coasting. After some practice, you can start to feel when you're coasting without looking at the instruments. It could be my imagination, but the coast "zone" seems...
