    19" or 20" wheels?

I have the 20s and have also driven 2000+ miles on 19s - I wouldn't even consider going with the 19s, since I prefer the additional grip and don't mind sacrificing some ride quality. I know others who prefer the 19s since ride quality (or the look of one of the 19" options) is the highest...

    navi/radio/etc manual

The US manual was posted in the Facebook group several months ago - it's in the "Files" section.

    Resetting CEL

I used a cheap OBD scanner to reset it in a REx I was driving for a few weeks - it didn't return for the next 600 miles. I gave the car back after that. Here's the scanner I used: http://www.amazon.com/Autel-MaxiScan-MS300-Diagnostic-Vehicles/dp/B001LHVOVK/

    Anyone try this OnBoard bag?

I'm not worried at all about rain getting in there, but I wouldn't spray a hose directly on the bag near the opening and expect it to keep everything completely dry. The hood prevents any significant amount of water from getting there in the first place, though. Here's an alternative method...

    Anyone try this OnBoard bag?

Many of us have this bag - lots of photos and use cases on the Facebook group. The pictures of it from BMW don't do a good job of showing how it works. The top of it folds over and there's a velcro attachment to keep it closed. I would say it's more for splash protection than being waterproof...

Leasing a Rex Model - is this a good deal?

They had big holes in the front fenders for the additional sensors/cameras.

Kids and back of the i3 front seat

After a bit more searching, the back actually does pop off - but there are many clips involved, and considering the airbag involvement it looks like a good job for the dealer.

Kids and back of the i3 front seat

There is an airbag installed in each front seat.

Kids and back of the i3 front seat

It doesn't look torn - probably just needs to be re-attached. I don't have any info about opening the seats up, but I would be cautious given that they contain airbags. Edit: Looks like that rear piece probably just pops off, but unless you want to disconnect the 12V in order to prevent issues...

    Rear Facing Car Seat

We have another baby on the way, and I've test fitted our Britax Chaperone several times - with the front seat adjusted for a 6' passenger, the infant seat barely makes contact with the front seat. Our seat/base is very large for an infant seat, so others may fit a bit easier. Buckling an...

Tire blowout in the first 48 hours of ownership.

Correct, the all season (and 20" summer for that matter) tires are non-directional. The wheels, however (at least the non-mega options), are directional.

    OwnersChoice APR

A few people who've done this have had BMWFS adjust their rate down automatically, but that's probably dependent on how the dealer does the paperwork.

    OwnersChoice APR

I've never seen the rate discount "officially" documented publicly - I believe it should be in their notebook with all the rate info. I learned about it via the Facebook group, then I took advantage of it when we bought our car. I believe that you have to put 15% down to get the reduced rate.
  14. I

    OwnersChoice APR

It's 2.99%, and if you put enough down it drops to 2.74%. Unless there's a credit issue, any dealer that advertises a higher rate is just marking it up.

Atlanta Facebook Group for i3 Owners

They can too - just need to create an account. I get that some people don't want to, though - but the groups are a great resource for those who will.

Atlanta Facebook Group for i3 Owners

Sure, either works, but for whatever reason the Facebook i3 groups are much more active than this forum. Also, everyone can join the Facebook groups.

I don't lock mine in the garage either, but I enjoy the music playing until I can't hear it any more ;)

You don't lock your car in parking lots?

What should be target discount on 2014-proposal included

You're not taking into account the $7500 she would be eligible to get back. Her quote above is for OC, not OC with Flex, so that $7500 would effectively reduce the quoted payment by $312/mo over 24 months.

Atlanta Facebook Group for i3 Owners

FYI, for any Atlanta i3 owners (or those interested in becoming one) - there's an active Atlanta Facebook group for local discussions related to the i3, including charging rollouts, meets/events, group buys, and local dealer feedback. Go here to join: https://www.facebook.com/groups/atlbmwevowners/
