They listed similar "market adjustments" when the i3 was new to market - I would find another dealer. It seems that a few owners have had good luck with BMW of SF, but for the most part the advice is that there are better options in the area.

I know several people who've done this in order to gain access - they may need to provide a phone number, but they don't attach their real name to the account. For some people this removes enough of the concern, but of course there will be others who will still avoid it.

Thanks, could you post a photo of the issue? I haven't heard of this happening previously. Maybe the car was bumped at some point while parked without you being aware of it.

That's there for other reasons, though. I've never heard of needing to hold the key up there just because you removed the key from the car while it was on - and I do this all the time.

The charging indicator should not continue to blink after an hour - as mentioned in previous posts it shuts off a few minutes after locking the car.

That's not exactly correct - it's the EP500s that are affected, in either size. There's an owner on this forum from Europe who had the noise with his 19" EP500s, and BMW resolved the noise issue by swapping for a new set of EP500s. Of course, in the US, the 19" wheels only come with the all...

Does not work on the i3 or any recent US BMW without coding. After being coded, it works via the lock button or the door handle locking function with comfort access. It will also fold the mirrors on cars with that capability, including the i3.
