Where are you reading the coolant temp? Are you driving in EcoPro? that makes the A/C cut in and out. In Comfort the A/C is more steady. Here in sunny and hot Florida - during the middle of the Day I always drive in Comfort - otherwise the A/C is not doing it's job.

the BMW navigation system is like 10 years outdated, but it gets you from A to B. I've got one of the MMI boxes - which is plugged in between the Screen and the Headunit. Android Auto and CarPlay available. Not perfectly user friendly yet, but much better then the original BMW solution.
