    Very common issue with mid 2015 or older i3 rex. Dealership replaced it in 3 days under warranty. And BMW sent a letter offering free extended warranty on it for additional 10 year/120 miles!!

    For BEV i3 spare works, for Rex it does not because the tire size is different and trunk has space for one. I prefer a repair kit and inflater in Frunk. Also saved the old set of tire in garage in case, however, in Houston, Costco normally receives the tires two day after placing the order...

    Wish there is central place where everyone can enter the Battery health. Mine is 17.3% at 17K miles in 30 months, measured on 90F day.     Oh no not that. I am talking about modifications outside of Rex/ZEV credits and regulatory requirements. Whats disappointing is that BMW delivered i3 with outdated software out the door. For example, pre-conditioning can be set only at one time, weekdays and weekends; Geo-fencing is another.

    BMW can make those parameters available so owners given that so many of us use it to do that. I am just complaining that car is a modern marvel but software is still ancient.

    It can be the extra weight on Terra and/or Tire pressure but I think just like the Aero wheels on Tesla are suppose to have about 10% higher efficiency...2015 i3 Mega has wheels similar to Aero could be the reason behind it.

    Have you tried increasing Fuel tank capacity? Did that work for you. In my 2015 i3 both battery and rex range is showing the same range even after increasing the fuel tank capacity via bimmercode easy mode and it has been two weeks. I was hoping to see 10-20% increase in Rex range over battery.
