    Well in 4 years the battery pack will be out of warranty and will offer a range of ~60 miles. But also there are indications that BMW will discontinue i3 altogether in next couple years.

    I think the people are hard on BMW because the 6% battery buffer runs out so quickly and that has put them in in a bad situation. All seem to have the same ask to mitigate this issue, BMW should offer battery upgrade.

    Earlier this summer i installed 2018-02 Map, bought it from the website with FSC code BUT was never prompted to enter it!! The new maps show street view after reaching destination(rarely works though, guessing due to slow 3G speeds)

    The dealer actually told me that bumper to bumper warranty stays with the car for 4 years and 50K miles.

    There are several services, remote , Real time traffic alert or navigation and couple more, are separate. Real time traffic alert is expiring on my car this December but Remote Lock/pre-conditioning is good until 2025.

    Yes, battery warranty or 4/years,50K miles manufacturer warranty ports forward to the new owner or in other words, stays with the car, regardless who the owner is.

    ACC is unreliable, period! Rain triggered the warning, luckily car did not brake, ever since, I use it only below 20 miles/hr in bumper to bumper traffic. Other than that car has been problem free.

    Mazda's shoe box size rotatory engine is something i am looking forward to. I think it Rex concept(with 150 mile range battery) will be more successful and popular than pure BEVs(lack of charging infrastructure & home charging etc)

    Yes, you are right. It does not pause between the wipes so in light rain when there is not enough water on the windshield, the wipers squeaking. Wonder if BimmerCode has a hack for that.
