I entered that page and c01 can not be found...just c04.

One paint shop has told me that the c04 has 2 variants...one brighter and one darker...perhaps the bright c04 is a match with c01 ???? No idea... :cry:

Yes..the c04 is a bit darker than the c01, so not an exact match. This is the issue...but not sure.....

Managed to connect after several iterations....worked with airplane mode on on my phone and unicarscan in automatic protocol. Battery finally registered. :lol:

So I just installed the BMW OEM 12v battery on my i3. Car is working fine. The most tricky part was to dissengage and engage the main battery safety connector without damaging it. . But with some wiggeling and pulling up when disengaging, and prying away a little plastic tab on the left side...

Now thankfully, all interior light are off when the car is locked...seems the car starts behaving strangely when the battery level drops...shame I did not do the soc reading when the problems began.
