How does one activate the automatic high beams? I could not figure it out on my 2019 i3S and now on my 2020 i3S.....still cannot get them to work! Are the auto high beams not active on the S models?

People will sue over everything. I know many people with 14-16 i3 and they have never complained about this. Frivolous are the reason prices for everything go up. I am glad a Judge had the common sense and decency to throw part of this suit out!

I agree, with only 2 gallons needed for the i3...use the best.

I would add some fuel stabilizer. Cheap & easy insurance, especially against ethanol "damage".

In my 2019 Rex and now my 2020 Rex, I add a wee bit of fuel stabilizer to the tank. Just a bit of insurance, in my mind. With my 2019, I asked my Service Advisor at BMW, and to my surprise....he said adding some is a good idea!

BMW, Mercedes, RR, Bentley and even years ago SAAB told me to only use Chevron. Maybe it's silly, but I have used Chevron since 1995.

Thanks Pahaska. I filled up today, since I was out. I used 91Octane Chevron, and I just filled until the pump clicked off (1.5 gallons). No CEL :)

There is a member on the Facebook i3 group I belong to, that says using Premium fuel for the REX can easily result in a Check Engine Light. I believe the i3 REX Owner's Manual says to use a minimum Octane rating of 89 for unleaded fuel, but 91/93 (Premium is recommended). I will need to add...

I had a 2019 i3S Capparis white with black 20" wheels and I am now in the same combo but a 2020 i3S. I think the i3, especially the i3S is the best looking Bimmer on the road. It is unique, loads of fun, handles well and performs flawlessly. I absolutely love the i3!

Congrats on the new 19 i3. I loved my 19 and am loving my 2020. That is very strange about the alarm going off. I would say ask the dealer, since you are under warranty, but of course the coding is a big no-no and warranty voider. Fingers crossed you get it figured out.

That is pretty cool. Can you make it dimmer? It looks fun, but is it too bright whilst driving at night?
