I agree with eXodus....ceramic tint the i3. I am on i3 number two and without tinting, the i3 is unbearable in the sun & heat! The difference when I tinted all side, rear and moonroof windows with high quality ceramic tinting made beyond a huge difference, and it makes the HVAC run so much...

I'm on my second i3S Rex and I love it! It gives me more joy and enjoyment than mot 6 figure cars I have owned. My G-o-M goes up and down with temps too. Warm weather gives my electric range up to 160 miles and cool or cold weather can drop it down to 136-140 miles.

I have been in my 2020 i3S now since Sept. 27 and before than I had a 2019 i3S. I find the i3 to be rock solid at freeway speeds (granted I have never taken either i3 over 80 mph). I find the steering as good (or better) than current/modern BMW ICE cars. I agree with the member above that...

300 fuel stops, LOL!! Yes...Youtube, Bimmerlink and my Veepeak OBD tool....accessing REX (aka coding) is a must and I am so happy I did it. It also 100% eliminates any thinking about "did my REX run, is it ok, is the oil getting old, is the fuel getting old, are the injectors gummy?"

OMG. Yes, yes! It seems most only know Made in China, but once upon a time it was Made in Japan or Made in Taiwan! And yes, early Made in Japan left a lot to be desired. LOL

My 2019 i3 key and now my 2020 i3 key is perfect...flat and cannot really even see it in my pocket. I find other BMW models' key much larger. You should see Rolls-Royce keys :-O

Thanks MKH. Great explanation about REX and CARB :) I am so happy I accessed ;) REX I Used my VEEPEAK OBD tool and the Bimmerlink APP to access control of my REX, and it took only a few mins...although I probably spent an hour watching Youtube videos on how to and building up courage!!

Yes! I think the worst manuals are Chinese to English :-O Those make the i3 German to English seem like Shakespeare, LOL.

I am a member of the largest Facebook i3 group, and there is not much whining ;) The help and advice and knowledge has been pretty amazing actually, and I do not think there is any more push to code REX on Facebook than on this page. It seems most who have REX on this site and on Facebook...

As are most manuals, but the i3 manual has a dash of extra disaster ;)
