Yeah, Thanks Jim. I was not clear with my wording, my fault. I should have said REX powering the generator, not actually running on REX.

With my battery at 0% and driving with REX only....No reduction at all in HVAC and even at highway speeds of 70+ mph (up a substantial hill)...REX is strong and fast! Is the '19 i3S with REX different from other years? Even off the line with REX only, it is shockingly quick!

Since many of us with the REX option almost primarily drive on pure electric and rarely engage REX, is it at all recommended to add octane preserver to the gasoline tank? I have NOT done this, but would love some feedback, opinions or a definitive answer ;) Thanks!

Update from BMW! Fault codes are showing a fuel tank vent valve!! Seriously?! Wasn't this issue from 2014/2015? I cannot believe this is still going on, 4-5 years after i3 models began experiencing this. SMH! They said if all parts are in stock, should only be 1 more day.
