Since the i3 takes the parking brake off for you when you hit the "gas" -- as long as your seatbelt is fastened -- it won't help much in this particular case. But it's still a good habit to use the parking brake when parked. (Cue "but sometimes . . .")
Or just turn off the car and it offers the option immediately. Might seem counterintuitive to a driver coming straight from an ICE vehicle at first . . .
If you're not connected to a charger, it won't warm up the battery, but you can definitely precondition the interior remotely. I'm not sure, but it sounds like you haven't tried it, maybe like you're wondering if you should subscribe . . . My wife doesn't particularly like my i3, but if she's...
Is that in front of your driver's seat? I've got a baby extinguisher in the trunk to ease the kids' worried after they witnessed serious fire incident. It's not NHRA approved in reach of the driver or anything, but it's there. I think I wouldn't stick around to fight a burning carbon fiber frame...
If that happened to me, I'd blame my spouse. Or parent, child, partner, roommate, etc., as applicable. Much better than somnambulism, demonic possession, hallucinatory mania, etc.
Keep it simple and non-supernatural is among my mottos.
I just pick the battery religion that suits my practice best, and like regular religon, I presume every other battery is going to hell. So far, so good, just like my plan to live forever .
I had the car over 6 months before I figured out it toggled thru a series of measurements . . . and have never heard a believable explanation -- although I've seen/heard some Lucasian level retconning -- as to what BC represents.
It's actually the same problem 808Pants had: just keep tapping that BC button on the turn signal stalk until the data you want appears. I, too, prefer temp.
(BTW, I'm pretty sure that anyone who intentionally and deliberately selects "Average speed since reset" mode puts on one sock and one...
RTFM is a little harsh, IMHO. That manual isn't particularly user friendly, and the "BC" label on the turn signal stalk button isn't at all intuitive. My wife asked me if it was the button to distribute birth control. (It is not.)
Are you meaning the screen location that on my picture shows the current temperature? If so, that's toggled thru with the "BC" button at the end of the turn signal stalk. I have no idea what "BC" stands for. Or does it look like a little speed limit sign?
Many US states have strict tinting rules on the books, but, like rear-view mirror tree regulations, they're only intended to be actually enforced in certain situations.
IMO, I'd rather have a comfy car than the extra few % on the battery. But again, that's just MHO.
OTOH, what's not my opinion is that if one misses a scheduled (repeating) departure time by long enough for several days in a row, that repeating scheduled departure time will be deactivated.
BMW doesn't remind you to renew, the service just stops abruptly a year. So while it doesn't auto-renew, there also isn't even an email or message on the screen! Apparently, no one told the online people how to "shut up and take my money!"
Some cars need to have remote services enabled in the...

I have a 2017, so online still works, but when connecting to BMW servers the display still shows "3G". Someone was a little too specific in the graphics department . . .
