Bobby, Did you consider relocating the temp sensor behind and towards the edge of the seat closest to the center console? This way, it avoids the metal rod altogether? Not going under OR over?

thanks Alohart, I was actually thinking during a battery change. But I don't think it's necessary in that case either.

The snap shots above show the first Enabling I001 and the second "enabling" F015_enable. I didn't make the change, thought I'd wait for you to try it out. :) I live in the City and not many places to test.
