Re: Rear wiper delete

Now we just need single front wiper to make more like it's lightweight design grand-father the A2 !

Re: Battery Upgrade

Different LIM, Charger KLE, cables and for REX different EME.

But the 94Ah pack will fit. Needs new bolts and aircon gas refill (EU has 1234yf not R134a).

Teak and eucalyptus can be effectively cleaned using a typical kitchen cleaning sponge and soapy water (nothing astringent) and then wiped over with teak oil. The use of varnish or any type o...

Re: Clunking noise when going over bumps

Check the top strut mounts and get an alignment check. Also anti roll bar bushes where mounted to front of the car not just the drop links.

Re: Winter Tires - CAUTION: DON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE

155/70 r19 v 175/55r20 just 0.1% in it

v 175/60R19: 1% so at worst around 0.6 mph at 60 mph

Well within tolerances for ABS, TPS and Traction Ctrl.

Re: Range

Battery degrades around 3% per year whether you use it or not. More if you do deep discharges everyday. Get car with CCS and Heat Pump & heated seats as a minium on a 60Ah BEV. EcoPro+ turns off pretty much everything even seat heaters unless re-coded. It is very easy to steam up the windscreen in t...

Re: Wider 2018 Sport tires

There are higher Load ratings on 155 through 175 tyres now in 19" and or rear 20" of older i3. But 155/20" still 80.

Load index
80 155/20 450kg
84 155/19 500kg
85 175/20 515kg
86 175/19 530kg
88 155/19 560kg
89 175/20 580kg

Speed ratings also now available in T (118mph) not just Q (100mph)

Re: Improve aerodynamics for better mpK

It was built to a price. CdA is actually no better than a 1990s Toyota Camry.

Lowering any car reduces effective frontal area no matter how badly designed the undertray is.

For down-force without a drag penalty then yes a flat bottom with proper diffuser is the way forward for race cars.
